DRILL & FILL
Exterior walls are often times the largest exterior surface area of a home, so you can imagine how having minimal insulation can affect the overall energy efficiency. Arrow has over 20 years experience performing an application called “drill and fill”, a process that involves drilling holes through the exterior and dense packing cellulose into every wall cavity.
CELLULOSE INSULATION
Cellulose is a loose-fill insulation made up of recycled paper and cardboard, and treated with boric acid and borax. These chemicals are non-hazardous to people and are effective flame retardants and pest deterrents. During the process, we will remove and replace your home’s siding, or drill through the siding if it can’t be removed.
A QUIETER HOME
A great by-product of this application is also a reduction in sound from busy streets or neighbors!
