WHAT WE DO:
We start by using a heat sealant product called mastic to seal any and all connections in the ductwork. This sealant will harden like a rubbery cement, allowing it to expand and contract over time as the ductwork heats and cools.
After the entire system is sealed, we insulate the ductwork using a 3 ½” thick fiberglass batt. The insulation is wrapped around the ductwork like a candy-cane, secured with nylon twine.
We will also work with local utility companies to ensure you receive any rebates available to you when you choose to seal and insulate your heat ducts!
